Today we’re throwing back to the heyday of map-making with some gorgeous vintage maps from a little shop in San Francisco called Schein & Schein on Grant Ave. I must confess, I’ve never been to this store in person, but after browsing their collection online, I’m going to have to make a point of heading to the brick-and-mortar version next time I’m in the city!
I particularly love the early 20th century Tube Map of London. It’s such a familiar, modern map but with a lovely 1920s class. I’m also a little in love with the Fire Limits map of San Francisco, or more specifically, with the font used on it: isn’t it charming?!
